While some genres are commonly associated with first-person perspective gameplay, such as first-person shooters like Call of Duty or Doom, it is not limited to this genre alone. Many other types of games utilize this perspective to provide unique gameplay experiences:

• Action-Adventure games Games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, or Dishonored, offer an immersive role-playing experience where players explore vast open worlds while interacting with characters and completing quests.
• Puzzle games Games like ‘Portal’, which require players to solve intricate puzzles by manipulating objects and traversing environments using a special weapon known as a portal gun.
• Survival horror games This genre utilizes first-person perspective to heighten immersion while creating an atmosphere of fear and tension. Examples include ‘Amnesia: The Dark Descent’ or ‘Resident Evil 7: Biohazard’

The First-Person tag therefore indicates that the game is played primarily through the eyes of the player's character. This perspective enhances immersion, allowing players to explore diverse game worlds and engage in a range of different gameplay styles and genres.
