Enter a custom date range to filter games by release date using the two pairs of year (Y) and month (M) fields. The left pair is the starting date and the right pair is the ending date. All fields are optional but if you want predictable results, we recommend filling out all four fields!
Entering just the starting year, or year and month, shows games released any time during the specified year or month. Entering both pairs of dates will show games between those two dates (inclusive). See the following examples for special behaviours when omitting some fields.

Year range
Show all games released between 1999 and 2001. When months are omitted, it defaults to 1 (January) for the starting month and 12 (December) for the ending month.

Unbounded lower range
Show all games released before 1990 (exclusive). When the starting date is omitted, it defaults to January 1970, which is effectively unbounded.
